Md. Abdur Razzaque Khan Rana is an Advocate and Company Law, VAT & Tax Consultant. He is the founder and CEO of country’s leading company law as well as tax law firm Khan Associates. He is familiar by his name Advocate A. R. Khan Rana in the corporate sector of Bangladesh. Advocate Rana is also an alumnus of University of Dhaka and Currently he is playing the role of the Secretary of Accounting Alumni Association of the University of Dhaka. Advocate rana is also the Chief Advisor of Dhaka University Dhamrai Student’s Forum and life member of Post Graduates, University of Dhaka. Advocate Rana is from Dhamrai, Dhaka. He passed his SSC in 1987 from Warshi Paikpara M. Easin & Yunus Khan High School and HSC in 1989 from Dhaka College. After completing his HSC, he took admission in the University of Dhaka in 1989 and completed his graduation in 1992 and post-graduation in 1993 from the department of Accounting and Information Systems. Advocate Rana has completed his LLB in 2007 from Central Law College and taken advocateship from bar council. He also has completed his CA-CC from Mr. R. Khan & Co Chartered Accountants under ICAB. He started his career back in 1995 as a lecturer in Nurul Amin University College, Shibchar, Madaripur. Later on, he switched to a multinational company in it’s accounts and finance division where he worked for many years. Since he had a dream to become an entrepreneur, so he decided to leave the job and founded his own VAT & Tax consultancy firm Khan Associates back in 2001. His first venture Khan Associates is now a well-established company law and VAT & Tax consultancy firm in Bangladesh. Renowned multinational and local group of companies as well as some autonomous bodies are taking consultancy services from Khan Associates for last two decades. Advocate Rana is a serial entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of Gulshan Commerce College, Destination Park Ltd, Fudabt Corporation (Pvt.) Ltd., the owner of Ifaz Tahia Agro Farm, founder of Lite Electronics Limited. He is a successful entrepreneur who has created employment opportunity for huge number of people. Lots of families are getting benefits from the business ventures founded by him which makes him happy. Advocate Rana also is connected with different professional, social and welfare organizations. He has a strong involvement with Lion’s Club, Bangladesh Economic Association, Dhaka Bar Association, Dhaka Tax Bar Association, Golf Club, Gunijon Foundation and Rajapur Adrsha Samiti where he is playing very vital role and contributing a lot in the society. He is also one of the co-founders and donner member of Warshi Girls School He loves to do humanitarian job from his heart. He is also a philanthropist but he never wants to get exposed. Rather, he loves to work very silently for the deprived people of the society which is why he is highly respected in his locality. He dreams to do something greater for the mankind.
